Jhara pehlwan's nephew Haroon Abid will be in action in Pakistan junior competitions.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Jhara family has produced a wrestler 26 years after the death of legendary Jhara pehlwan, reported Dunya News on Wednesday.

According to details, Jhara pehlwan’s 17-year-old nephew Haroon Abid will be in action in Pakistan junior competitions after a few months.

Interesting thing in this case is that Japanese great Muhammad Hussain Inoki, aka Antonio Inoki, trained Haroon Abid who fought against Jhara pehlwan 38 years ago. Both Jhara and Inoki became good friends afterwards.

Inoki took Haroon with him to Japan a few years back and gave him training of latest wrestling as well as ‘desi kushti’.

Jhara’s family members are very thankful to Inoki for training Haroon Abid. Pakistan Wrestling Federation is also satisfied with Haroon’s preparations and thinks he can participate in the junior level competition this year.
