Pakistan beat Iran, reach West Asia Baseball Cup final
Pakistan will play the final match against Sri Lanka.
ISLAMABAD (Daily Dunya) – Pakistan have qualified for the final of 13th West Asia Baseball Cup by beating Iran at Pakistan Sports Complex Baseball ground, reported Roznama Dunya on Wednesday.
As per details, Pakistan downed Iran in the semi-final by 11-0. Pakistan’s Arslan Jamshaid, Riaz Khan, Fazal Khan scored two runs each, whereas, Sameer, Umair Bhatti, Majeed, Amin Afridi and Faqeer Hussain scored one run apiece.
Iranian team could not score even a single run.
Pakistan will now play the final match against Sri Lanka who brushed aside Nepal 11-0 in the other semi-final.
