Kuantan, Malaysia (Dunya News) – India beat Pakistan 3-2 in crucial encounter of Asian Hockey Champions Trophy being played in Kuantan.

From Indian side, Rupinder Pal Singh, Ramandeep Singh and Pardeep Mor scored goals at crucial intervals while Muhammad Rizwan Sr and Muhammad Irfan Jr threw the ball into net from Pakistan side.

The defeat has been Pakistan’s second one in the tournament and that makes Pakistan’s chances difficult of qualifying to the next round.

Pakistan will face Japan on Oct 25 in its next match. The boys in green have already lost to Malaysia 4-2 in its first match.
