Shehbaz Sharif's resignation as PAC chairman accepted
Shehbaz Sharif had announced to quit chairmanship of Public Accounts Committee.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaisar on Wednesday accepted the resignation of opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif from the post of chairman of Public Accounts Committee (PAC).
The resignation would be effective from Wednesday, Nov 20th and National Assembly secretariat has issued a notification in this regard.
PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif had earlier announced to quit chairmanship of Public Accounts Committee.
Shehbaz Sharif said the party has decided that Rana Tanveer Hussain will be chairman of PAC, and he is bound to follow the party decision.
Senior leaders of PML-N said Shahbaz Sharif will focus on reorganization of the party.
