KARACHI (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan clarified on Friday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is against the formation of another province in Sindh.
As per Dunya News sources, PM Imran on his visit to Karachi met delegations of the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) which included PTI member Firdous Shamim Naqvi, PTI member Khurrum Sher Zaman, PTI member Haleem Adil Sheikh, PTI member Faisal Vawda and other members at Governor House.
Former Sindh Chief Minister Arbab Ghulam Rahim, Nand Kumar, PML-F Nusrat Seher Abbasi and and PML-F Sadaruddin Shah Rashidi of GDA also attended the meeting.
Political situation of Sindh, ongoing plans of Federal government and allied parties‘ affairs were discussed in the meeting.
According to sources, PM Imran clarified that PTI is against the formation of another province in Sindh as there is no need of it after ruling party PTI’s new local body system.
Earlier today, Prime Minister arrived in Karachi on a one-day visit.
The premier attended the fund-raising ceremony for the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre.
