Have no problem, opposition may hold daily public meetings: PM Imran

The prime minister said that opposition should not be given importance.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday hit out at the opposition and said that these people are exposing themselves in front of the people day by day.

Addressing the parliamentary party meeting in Islamabad on Friday, the prime minister lashed out at the opposition saying the opposition in unemployed and they shouldn’t be given importance.

“I have no problem with the opposition’s rallies and movement and they [opposition] should hold rallies daily,” he said.

On the occasion, the members expressed concern over inflation and demanded that it be brought under control, to which the prime minister assured them that it would be brought under control soon.

Imran Khan said that the past rulers, who are protesting, are responsible for the issues facing the country.

PTI Member National Assembly (MNA) Muhammad Sana Ullah Khan Masti Khel while criticising said that the team was not performing.

He said that there is a serious public concern over gas and electricity, adding that it is becoming difficult for the people to pay their electricity and gas bills.

According to sources, several other members also agreed with Masti Khel’s views.

PM Imran while assuring the members said that he was aware of all the problems facing the people and would soon control the inflation.
