COVID-19: Sindh health department issues advisory for prisoners.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Health Department of Sindh has issued an advisory for prisoners in the wake of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), Dunya News reported on Saturday.
According to details, the department has directed to form special health desks in all prisons. Inmates over forty years of age and with weak immunity will be kept separate from others.
Prisoners are advised to maintain a distance of one meter from each other and they will be provided with soaps and sanitizers. Inmates have further been advised to cover their mouths while coughing and sneezing.
The authorities have been asked to ban smoking inside the jail premises and officials will take precautionary measures while interrogating the detainees.
