The Muttahida Qaumi Movement is observing 18th death anniversary of Azeem Ahmad Tariq today.

In a statement issued from London, MQM chief Altaf Hussain said that Azeem Ahmad Tariq’s killing was a conspiracy to perish MQM.He said that it had been 18 years since the murder of Tariq but his assassins were yet to be arrested. He said that all success of the MQM was indebted to martyrs. Their sacrifices will not be let uncounted.Tariq was the chairman of the MQM and was shot dead at his house in 1993.
