CJP says ready to sacrifice life for Prophet's (PBUH) honour
He made these remarks during hearing of petition seeking appointment of new Islamabad IG.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Saqib Nisar on Thursday remarked that love of the members of the bench—which announced verdict in Asia Bibi case—for Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) is not less than anyone else and it can’t be doubted.
He made these remarks during hearing of petition seeking appointment of new Islamabad IG.
“We are even ready to become martyr for the protection of honor of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (S.A.W.W). But how can we convict someone without any evidence”, remarked the top judge.
The honourable judge urged people from all walks of life to thoroughly read the verdict given in Asia Bibi case.
He further added that some judges of higher judiciary recite Durood Sharif even in their working hours.
