PM Imran Khan chairs meeting on law and order in Karachi

Imran Khan will preside over a meeting regarding the development projects.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday is presiding over a meeting at Estate Guest House regarding law and order situation in Karachi.

As a part of his Karachi visit, Imran Khan met Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah. He was briefed over the development projects underway in the metropolis.

On the occasion, corps commander Karachi, director general in Rangers, Sindh inspector general and officials of intelligence agencies were also present.


PM visits mausoleum of Quaid


On his arrival, PM Imran Khan paid a visit to mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

The premier along with Imran Ismail and Murad Ali Shah also offered fateha and laid floral wreaths at the graves of Fatima Jinnah and Liaquat Ali Khan.


PM’s busy schedule in Karachi


Khan is expected to make an announcement regarding desalination plant and vehicles for collecting garbage. He will chair a fundraising program for Bhasha Dam at the Governor House.

He is also scheduled to hold meetings with Sindh CM Syed Murad Ali Shah and other political leaders.

This is his first trip to the country’s economic hub after he assumed office as the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
