Avenfield Reference-Delay in ruling irked Pakistanis
The decision was delayed four times.
(WebDesk) - Pakistanis all over the world were eagerly awaiting the decision of what was termed as the country’s biggest court decision. All eyes were on Judge Muhammad Bashir who was to announce the historical decision on the Avenfield Refrence case.
The decision was originally supposed to have been announced at 11am but the respected Judge delayed it till after Jummah Prayers. The decision, however, was again further delayed by the Judge firstly to 3pm and then to 3:30pm.
The constant delays in the decision agitated the anxious Pakistanis who awaited the decision since mroning.

The verdict was finally announced around 4:20pm according to which Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was handed 10 year improsinment whilst his daughter Maryam Nawaz was handed 7 years jail time.
