Applications for registration of case against Nawaz submitted with police in nine cities

Applicants have taken a stance that case should be filed Nawaz for hurting sentiments of Pakistanis.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Applications for registration of case against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif have been submitted with police in nine cities of Pakistan over his controversial interview in which he said that those who attacked a hotel in Mumbai in 2008 hailed from Pakistan.

The applications were submitted in police stations of Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Sargodha, Mianwali, Vehari, Khanewal, Sahiwal, Narowal and Zafarwal on Sunday, Dunya News reported.

The applications have taken a stance that the interview of former prome minister has hurt the sentiments of Pakistanis and a case should be filed against him in this regard.

They further said in their applications that the former prime minister took oath of allegiance with Pakistan three times, but he betrayed his own country. He should be punished by registering a case against him.
