Nawaz Sharif, Maryam leave for London to visit ailing Kulsoom Nawaz
Begum Kulsoom Nawaz is undergoing cancer treatment at a hospital in London.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif left for London today (Wednesday) to inquire about the health of his wife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz who is undergoing cancer treatment at a hospital in Britain’s capital.
Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain retired Safdar are also accompanying him. They are likely scheduled to return to the country on April 22.
Both will request the accountability court for exemption from Wednesday to Friday and would be back before next proceedings if request not granted.

The Sharif family left for London via Doha today on Qatar Airlines flight QR-629.
The former first woman was admitted to hospital on Tuesday after her condition deteriorated. Maryam Nawaz took to the twitter to request people to pray for her mother.

Meanwhile, all the rallies of PML-N have also been postponed. Nawaz and Maryam were to address gatherings in Lala Musa on April 20, Sahiwal on April 21and Mansehra on April 22. The new dates for the rallies will be announced later.
