Nation is disappointed with PM as he is trying to rescue an accused, Imran Khan said.

QUETTA (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan on Thursday has said that the allegations regarding horse-trading and ‘money-bought’ Senate chairmanship are being hurled by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) after defeat in the elections.

Addressing a press conference in Quetta, Imran Khan thanked the locals for his warm welcome and expressed ecstasy over electing Senate chairman from Balochistan.

Responding to the meeting of PM Abbasi with Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar, Imran Khan said that the premier must have requested the top judge to save Nawaz Sharif. Nation is disappointed with PM as he is trying to rescue an accused, he added.

PTI chief said that Nawaz Sharif had lied in Supreme Court (SC) and parliament and asked that from where Maryam Nawaz got money to purchase London flats.

PM Abbasi is Nawaz Sharif’s puppet, he continued.

Imran Khan also bashed co-chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari and termed him a corrupt leader. PTI will not make alliance with corrupt head of any party, he clarified.

In a statement, he said that the responsibility of an interim government is to hold fair and transparent elections. Will try to bring a joint interim setup this time, he added.

It is to be mentioned here that Imran Khan is in Quetta for party’s membership campaign regarding upcoming General Elections.
