MQM's two female MPAs join PSP

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) two female members of Sindh Assembly on Wednesday have joined Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP).

MPAs Naila Latif was elected on a special seat from Karachi while Naheed Begum was representing Sukkur.

In a joint conference, both female politicians said that they tried a lot to save MQM but stubbornness and personal interests of the leaders badly affected the party.

Meanwhile, PSP Chairman Mustafa Kamal invited members of both MQM groups to join his party, demanding to also pardon Karachi youth like FATA and Balochistan and include them in national mainstream.

Earlier, Muhajjir Qoumi Movement Haqiqi’s vice-chairman Shamshad Ghouri, and Kashif Mughal and Raees had joined ranks of PSP.

Talking on the occasion, Kamal stated that people were leaving their parties after being impressed by political philosophy of PSP. He also claimed that his party would win general polls 2018 from Sindh and candidate of PSP would be elected as Sindh chief minister.
