Senate election: Imran Khan announces not to vote for PMLN, PPP's candidates

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan has on Friday stated that joining ranks of Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari tantamount to quashing 21 years of struggle against corruption.

Khan overtly stated that PTI wouldn’t vote for Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in the Senate elections. He stated that masses of both Balochistan and Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA) are suffering from sense of deprivation.

“We (PTI) desire selection of Senate chairman and deputy chairman from Balochistan and FATA and a delegation [of PTI] is going to hold discussions with FATA senators for the same purpose”.

Khan also took a jibe at Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif while accusing latter of being indulged in money laundering. He appealed Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) to take notice of the plea against Kh Asif.
