Justice Azmat assured that nothing wrong will be happened to him if he is innocent.

Meanwhile, the state minister said that he is ready to apologize as his hands and heart are clean.

Subsequently, the hearing has been adjourned till February 19.

Earlier, the court had rejected PML-N leader Talal Chaudhry’s appeal seeking time for three weeks to hire lawyer and issued show cause notice to him.

It is to be mentioned here that suo moto notice was taken after Talal denigrated Panama Case verdict on myriad occasions.

While equating judges with idols in Jaranwala rally, Talal urged PML-N president Nawaz Sharif to oust them from courts. He said there was no hope of justice till these judges were sitting in the courts.

The apex court had also sentenced former PML-N leader Nehal Hashmi to one month in prison over similar charges.

On May 28, Hashmi triggered a political storm by threatening the members of the joint investigation team (JIT) and Supreme Court judges of “dire consequences” after their retirement for probing Sharif family in connection with Panama Papers case.
