Sindh minister Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani, wife found dead in Karachi
Mir Hazar Bijrani and his wife were found dead at their house.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh’s Minister for Planning & Development Mir Hazar Khan Bijrani and his wife Fareeha Razzaq were found dead at their residence in Karachi today (Thursday).
Bijarani’s wife, Fariha Razzaq, was a journalist and former member members of the provincial assembly. The police are investigating the murder from all possible angles.
According to reports, the couple’s bodies were found in their bedroom, the door to which was locked. Police could not ascertain the cause of death.

PPP leader Nasir Hussain Shah said the preliminary investigation shows that both were shot in the head. He said there was no sign of stress on Bijrani’s face when he attended the cabinet meeting yesterday (Wednesday).
"He (Hazar Bijrani) was not that person who would commit suicide," Shah said
Facts would be unearthed only after the investigation and exemplary punishment will be given if any person found involved in this incident, he warned.

Hazar Khan Bijarani belonged to Karampur area of Kashmore district. He was elected as member of the Sindh Assembly from PS-16 constituency as a PPP candidate after the 2013 general election.
He had done BA from National College in Karachi and MA in Political Science. He was a professional lawyer and had completed his LLB from Sindh Muslim Law College.
Mir Hazar was also the provincial president of PPP and got elected as Member of the National Assembly for four times, Members of the Sindh Assembly for three terms and once as a Senator.
