Intezar's father expresses doubts over CTD probe in son's murder case
CTD has held ACLC officials responsible for Intezar's death.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Father of slain Intezar Ahmed has expressed doubts over the investigation made in his son’s murder case.
He says that Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has decided over the case on the basis of previous probe. The father claims that DIG CTD has already finalized the results.
Intezar’s father had been shown the full CCTV footage of the incident by CTD. He warned that the footage will be handed over to the media if justice is not served to them in the case.
On the other hand, police is busy trying to find Laila. CTD sources say that Laila’s flat is locked but they will locate her with the assistance of her friends.
CTD also investigated Anti-Car Lifting Cell’s (ACLC) former chief SSP Muqaddas Haider’s PSO Bilal Haider about Laila.
Meanwhile, new revelations continue to surface in Intezar murder case. The CCTV footage of the incident was kept secret to conceal the identity of a man and his car.
The footage showed a car bearing government number plate in which the man was selling drugs to Madiha and Intezar minutes before the murder. The man is said to be the son of a political personality.
Madiha had said in her statement that Intezar used to take drugs from the man daily.
CTD has held ACLC officials responsible for Intezar’s death. A JIT has been formed in the case on the recommendation of CTD.
