Justice Saqib Nisar addressed to the meeting of Pakistan Law and Justice Commission

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar highlighted the significance of judicial reforms by pointing out that basic decisions for the betterment have become essential.

Talking to the meeting of Pakistan Law and Justice Commission, he voiced the need for improvement in the system of justice. He acknowledged that the system of DNA sample has been enforced in Punjab while all bar councils lauded it.

He admitted that there are complaints of delay despite longer time spent by judges, highlighting the need to introduce reforms in the laws for quick justice. “Those who file illegal cases should be fined,” he suggested.

The top judge told that cases are solved through mediation worldwide. “There is a dire need to enhance human resource,” he suggested while talking about how to solve cases quickly.

Meanwhile, Justice Nisar met the Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani today as the two discussed issues relating to judicial reforms. They exchanged opinions regarding the delay faced by people in courts, converging on the need to introduce basic reforms.
