Case against suicide attack on Malir SSP Rao Anwar registered
The sections of murder, encounter, explosives and terrorism were included in the case.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A case against an alleged suicide attack on the motorcade of Malir Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rao Anwar has been regsitered in Cantonment police station today (Wednesday).
The sections of murder, encounter, explosives and terrorism were included in the case.
According to police officers, two accomplices of the attacker were killed in retaliation while two 9mm pistols were also recovered from their possession.
Earlier on Tuesday, SSP Anwar narrowly escaped a terror attack when he departed from his office for his residence. Preliminary probe suggests that three terrorists ambushed the motorcade in cantonment and Anwar survived the attack being in a bullet proof vehicle.
