India violated ceasefire over 70 times in Jan 2018: minister
Any Indian misadventure would be retaliated with full force: minister for Kashmir affairs
ISLAMABAD (APP): Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Barjees Tahir Sunday said India had committee over 70 ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC) in almost first three weeks of January this year.
Criticizing Indian Army chief Bipin Rawat’s recent statement, he said in a statement that any Indian misadventure would be retaliated with full force.
Indian Army chief’s statement was tantamount to vitiating the atmosphere of South Asian region, he said, adding the International community should take notice of the irresponsible statement of Indian Army chief.
Pakistan was an atomic power and India knew very well the result of any misadventure, he said, adding the capture of Kulbushan Yadav had proved Indian involvement in terror activities inside Pakistan to sabotage China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
He said Pakistan would continue the moral, diplomatic and political support of Kashmiris and India would have to grant right to self determination to Kashmiris, which was key to ensuring peace in South Asia.
