The PTI leader said allegations authority misuse, insider trading and loan write off were rejected

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – PTI leader Jahangir Tareen reacted to the verdict of the Supreme Court (SC), questioning the disqualification verdict and asking why he was declared ineligible on the basis of mere interpretation of the trust deed.

Taking to Twitter, Tareen said on Friday that all allegations of misuse of authority, loan write off, insider trading and wrongly declared agricultural income were dismissed in the top court’s verdict.

He said, “Accusations Rejected: 1) Misuse of authority & loan write off 2) Insider Trading 3) Misdeclared Agri income 4) London Property Full money trail accepted not hidden, declared in children s assets since 2011. And SC disqualifies me on mere interpretation of the trust deed???"

Reacting to the Supreme Court verdict of Jahangir Tareen disqualification, PTI Chairman Imran Khan stated that he was disappointed in Jahangir Tareen’s disqualification. "Jahangir Tareen pays tax more than anyone else in Pakistan and we (PTI) will file review petition against Tareen’s disqualification”, he added.

The SC dismissed plea to disqualify Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan. Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar said Imran Khan was not liable to declare Niazi Services Ltd in his 2013 nomination papers as he was not a shareholder. Bani Gala is Khan’s property and he bought the land for his family, the CJP announced.
