Pakistan has changed after Panama Papers case, Imran tells lawyers in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – While addressing the lawyers in Karachi on Thursday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan claimed that Pakistan has changed after the Panama Papers case verdict.

“A powerful person was held accountable for the first time in the country’s history,” the PTI chief said.

Khan asked how can our society evolve without justice. He said corruption’s ‘Godfather’ was dragged in courts by the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) that had probed Panama Papers case against Sharif family.


VISIT TO FPCCI


During his visit to the Federation Of Pakistan Chambers Of Commerce & Industry, Imran Khan lashed out at the Sindh government, stating that Karachi’s biggest problem is its police force.

He said Rangers won’t be required in the city if police system works properly.

Imran Khan mentioned that Inspector General of Sindh Police AD Khawaja has requested for KPK-like police system in the province.
