PTI, PPP and FATA lawmakers tore down copies of the day's agenda
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Disturbance was witnessed in the National Assembly as lawmakers from the opposition parties tore down copies of the day’s agenda over no presentation of the FATA reforms bill.
Lawmakers from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) protested against the delay in the provision of basic rights to the residents of tribal areas. FATA lawmakers also raised slogans for their cause.
In reaction, the Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmad responded that further consultation is required to table the FATA reforms bill. He told that the federal government will table the bill in near future after the necessary discussion.

Imran Khan had Saturday that his party will hold protests throughout the country FATA is not made part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
