LHC allows admissions to private medical colleges
LHC has ordered banning of PMDC's central induction policy
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday has allowed admissions to private medical colleges.
According to the details, LHC under the supervision of Justice Ayesha had preserved the decision pertaining to the admissions in private medical colleges on November 30.
The case had proceeded after the court received petitions regarding admissions in the private medical colleges.
The counsellor for Private medical colleges had supplicated the court to allow colleges to admit the students. While PMDC’s lawyer reasoned that law does not allow private medical colleges to admit students.
He further argued that such authority is rested with central admission policy upheld by University of Health Sciences (UHS).
The decision was announced by a two member bench headed by Justice Ayesha.
