ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Accountability court on Thursday has rejected the objection raised by ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s assistant lawyer over submitted record in Al-Azizia Steel Mills case.

Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer Ayesha Hamid expressed reservations over the documents presented by bank officer Noreen Shahzad, stating that the submitter’s name was not among the witnesses and that she has failed to provide authority letter from the bank.

The lawyer further requested the court to not include this record in the case and that we were unware about the presence of Noreen.

Meanwhile, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor said Noreen is new manager of the bank, therefore, her record cannot be neglected.

Subsequently, the court has ordered to include the documents in the case.
