PAT acquires verified copy of Model Town incident report
PAT workers raised slogans against Punjab government.
LAHORE (Dunya News)- Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) on Wednesday succeeded in acquiring the verified copy of Justice Baqir report on Model Town incident following historic verdict of Lahore High Court (LHC).
As per details, PAT’s delegation headed by Khurrum Nawaz Gnadapur arrived at Civil Secretariat and held meeting with Special Secretary Home Department and Capital City Police Officer (CCPO).
Heirs of victims staged protest outside Civil Secretariat in Lahore
After some hue and cry with aforementioned officials, verified copy of Justice Baqir’s report was handed over to PAT delegation.
Earlier, police had closed all doors of Civil Secretariat amid likely protest of PAT’s workers. Large number of attendants returned empty handed as PAT staged protest and chanted slogans against Punjab government.
Talking to media, PAT leader Gandapur took a jibe at Punjab govt and wished to see all those responsible for massacre behind bars.
