MQM-P cancels Aysha Manzil to 'Yadgar-e-Shuhuda' march

Only MQM-P chief Farooq Sattar and Rabita Committee members will now visit martyrs graveyard today.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) on late Friday night announced to cancel a march from Aysha Manzil to  Yadgar-e-Shuhuda , Dunya News reported.

According to an MQM-P statement, only MQM-P chief Dr Farooq Sattar and Rabita Committee members will now visit the martyrs’ graveyard in Azizabad today (Saturday). The statement further said that the decision to limit the number of participants has been taken due to some unavoidable circumstances.

The MQM-P chief Dr Farooq Sattar had announced to take out rally from Aysha Manzil to ‘Yadgar-e-Shuhuda’ during his press conference in Karachi on Thursday.

Farooq Sattar had said that he will visit the martyrs’ graveyard in Azizabad along with his party workers on Saturday to pay his respects.
