PTI chief said Nawaz will retain control of Party and use it to malign NAB, judiciary and military.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has on Tuesday took to Twitter and said that ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif is desperate for NRO to avoid conviction on money laundering and save his Rs300 billion stashed abroad from being frozen.

PTI chairman maintained that London game plan is obvious now. Nawaz will retain control of Party and use it to malign the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), judiciary and military to pressure them for another NRO, he remarked.

Imran Khan said Nawaz Sharif has no concern how much damage he does to the nation to save his ill-gotten Rs300 billion stashed outside Pakistan.

Talking about Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Imran said he is rapidly reducing Pakistan to banana republic. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is playing poodle to a discredited Nawaz Sharif and retaining fugitive from justice as Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Imran commented.

It is worth mentioning here that the top Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership on Monday met in London and rejected ‘minus-Nawaz’ formula and also rubbished rumors of any rift in the party.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif flew to London on Sunday to meet former premier Nawaz Sharif, who arrived in London from Saudi Arabia with his son Hussain. On the same day, Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif and Ishaq Dar were also present in the meeting among others at Hassan Nawaz’s office.

During a 3-hour meeting, NAB references, country’s political situation and challenges being faced by Pakistan were discussed while it was also decided that Nawaz Sharif will continue serving as PML-N chairman.
