DG ISPR thanks Sri Lankan team, felicitates Pakistan on win

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor thanked Sri Lankan team for visiting Pakistan and restoring international cricket after eight years.

In his tweet, DG ISPR also felicitated Pakistan on their win against Sri Lanka and praised them for their brilliant performance. He commended Pakistan Cricket Board and security departments for their efforts in bringing international cricket back to Pakistan.

Major General Asif Ghafoor maintained that nation’s sacrifices have won this day.

International cricket’s closed doors opened towards Pakistan after Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa ensured fool-proof security to foreign players.

Initially, PSL final was held after which World XI visited Pakistan giving the message of peaceful Pakistan to the world.

Later, Pakistani and UK media’s match was held in Meeran Shah. Seven renowned football players including Ronaldinho made a tour to Pakistan and trained local players.

International famed wrestlers Tiny Iron, Flash Gordon and Badshah Khan also visited Pakistan and gave spectacular performance. Renowned bodybuilder Kai Green also arrived in Pakistan and displayed his skills.
