Maryam Nawaz calls on Shehbaz Sharif, Hamza in Lahore
Daughter of ousted premier Nawaz Sharif reacted to the reports on media following her meeting
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Maryam Nawaz has called on Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday and the meeting was attended by Member of National Assembly Hamza Shehbaz and Suleman, sons of the chief ministers.
Daughter of ousted premier Nawaz Sharif reacted to the reports on media following her meeting with her uncle in Lahore that allegedly painted the picture a certain way by stating: “Had gone for salam to my Uncle s where he most lovingly treated me to lavish afternoon tea. Surprised to see the spin given by media!”
She further stated: “Had good chat with him, my brothers Hamza, Suleman & other family members. Those who wish to drive a wedge will IA remain unsuccessful as always.”

Meeting among the family members came after a long lull during which numerous reports claimed of rift between the two brother, Nawaz and Shehbaz Sharif. Whilst, it was being written about, Kulsoom Nawaz, wife of the disqualified premier won NA-120 by-polls in the aftermath of her husband’s disqualification.
However, the family invariably denied the claims subsequently Maryam today reiterated family’s stance in social media posts.
