PTI was established to further the agenda of the late founder

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan has said on Sunday that he counts late Muhammad Ali Jinnah the only leader of Pakistan till date.

Khan addressed a convention of workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in the federal capital and in his speech he said that there were so many already existing political parties but there was a reason behind floating a front.

He said that the mission was to adopt and further the agenda and practices of late founder of Pakistan.

PTI chief said that today Pakistan is an indebted nation and there is no value of green passports in the world anymore.

There are voices raised even today that brand two-nation theory wrong and that it is synonymous to corruption if one favours self after coming to power. He said that billions of Rupees belonging to a person who used to sell tickets at a cinema are stashed abroad.

He said that Pakistan supported the United States after tragic 9/11 attacks but Pakistanis living abroad were imprisoned. He is among thousands of Muslims who have been detained at United States airports since then.

He was detained for several hours twice at an airport in the States, Khan added.

Two brothers belonging to Sharif family made money using politics as their means to stash wealth, PTI chief. Imran Khan said that those in authority believe that the law cannot hold them accountable.

He claimed that former president and co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party Asif Ali Zardari and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz president and ousted premier Nawaz Sharif are hindrances in progress of talent that Pakistan is abundant with.

Khan claimed that there is no system in Pakistan for talent to grow and flourish.

He criticised Nawaz Sharif, recalling, that he stated following an appearance before Joint Investigation Team before his ouster in July that the officials did not answer his questions.

PTI chief said that no country that has progressed trivialised the supremacy of merit.
