Corruption would not go away by merely sitting in the buildings of glass, said Justice (r) Iqbal

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Speaking in capital city, NAB Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal said that the corruption does not go away by merely sitting in fine buildings made of glass, adding that corruption will not go away until NAB officials adopt a zero tolerance policy against it.

He furthur said that only by following the accountability rules, will the writ of NAB be revived, saying that the inquiries and investigations should be completed within the given time rather than delaying them for years, the references submitted by NAB in courts should be swiftly acted upon and NAB should present its narratvie based on the availible evidence and investigation reports.

He said that he never took dictation from anyone in his entire career and served with honor, likewise, NAB officials should carry out their duties with sincerity, honor and dignity.
