PIMS doctors give govt three-day deadline to fulfill demands

PIMS employees are demanding to separate the hospital from Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto University.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The protest of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) doctors and paramedical staff has on Monday entered eighth day as patients continue to suffer.

According to details, PIMS employees are demanding to separate the hospital from the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto University. The staff has given a three-day deadline to government to approve amendments in the bill.

The doctors have also threatened to completely shut down the hospital and stop emergency service as well if their demands are not fulfilled.

On the other hand, patients are facing a lot of troubles. People are worried that they will lose their loved ones if the issue between the hospital and the government is not resolved.
