Musharraf should man up to appear before court: Zardari

Former President said that even after Murtaza Bhutto's murder people accused him and Benazir Bhutto

KAMALIA (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Friday denied all allegations levelled by former president Gen retd Pervez Musharraf, reported Dunya News.

He said that if Musharraf is brave enough he should come to Pakistan and appear before the courts. He said in the past, such allegations have been levelled against PPP frequently. “After the murder of Murtaza Bhutto, people accused me and the late Benazir Bhutto for his murder,” he claimed.

While talking to media in Kamali, Zardari said that just making roads doesn’t change anything. “PML-N can’t handle the government, I told people that I will let PML-N do their government and later I’ll ask them,” he said. He said that Ishaq Dar fled and left a wounded country behind. While answering a question, he said that Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) did not support our bill, “it is possible that they must have been lured by someone else.”

PPP co-chairman said that at the Kharal House in Kamalia where he was present to condole with the family of late Khalid Kharral. On this occasion, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Faisal Saleh Hayat, Nawaz Khokhar and Rukhsana Bangash were also present on the occasion.

Earlier on Thursday, Musharraf had accused Zardari of killing both Murtaza Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto in a video. He said that Zardari gained alot after Benazir s death.
