Earthquake jolts Swat, surrounding areas: media reports
Earthquake of 4.4 magnitude and 287 km depth was felt in KP
SWAT (Dunya News) – Earthquake was felt in Swat district and surrounding areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Wednesday, media reports claimed.
It was of 4.4 magnitude and spread through a depth of 287 km. Peoples in the aforementioned region remained in a state of fright and escaped outside of their homes.
According to PMD, its origin was Hindu Kush Region, Afghanistan. It was felt around 1500 hrs. There have been no reports so far of any loss of life or property.
