Punjab CM leaves for London to inquire about Kulsoom Nawaz's health

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday has left for London to inquire about the health of his sister-in-law and wife of ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Begum Kulsoom Nawaz.

Sources told that the minister will also meet Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders in London.

Earlier, Begum Kulsoom, who is also contesting in NA-120 by-poll from PML-N side, had successful surgery as she was suffering from throat cancer.

Sacked premier Nawaz Sharif reached London on Thursday morning where he met his wife and celebrated Eid with other family members including his younger daughter and Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar’s daughter-in-law Asma Ali.

Punjab CM’s sons Salman Shahbaz and Hamza Shahbaz had also visited London due to their personal engagements.
