NA-120 by-poll: Nomination papers of Dr Yasmin, Faisal Mir approved
The polling in the constituency will be held on September 17
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The nomination papers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Dr Yasmin Rashid and ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s wife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz have been approved by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) after scrutiny.
According to details, ECP has dismissed all the reservations over nominations of both candidates. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Faisal Mir has also got green signal from ECP to contest in the by-poll.

On the other hand, there is a chance of biometric voting in the constituency as NADRA has sent required material including PP-4, Gujar Khan, to the ECP.
The seat fell vacant after Supreme Court disqualified Nawaz Sharif under Artilce 62 (f) of the Constitution on July 28 in Panama Leaks case.
The polling in the constituency will be held on September 17.
