NA-120 by-poll: Kulsoom Nawaz to appear before ECP today
The polling in the constituency will be held on September 17.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s wife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz on Thursday will appear before Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for scrutiny of her nomination papers for NA-120 by-poll.
According to details, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Dr Yasmin Rashid has reached the commission’s office while Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Faisal Mir’s nomination papers will be verified at 2 pm.
Kalsoom Nawaz will attend the proceeding at 3 pm.
The seat fell vacant after Supreme Court disqualified Nawaz Sharif under Artilce 62 (f) of the Constitution on July 28 in Panama Leaks case.
The polling will be held on September 17.
