“I am proud of not being disqualified over corruption. Not a single penny of corruption can be proved in my rule,” he claimed. Nawaz Sharif asked the party leaders and workers to be proud of the fact that he hasn’t been found guilty of corrupt practices.

He called it unjust to consider non-withdrawn salary from Capital FZE as undeclared asset. “Certain people don’t declare their assets despite filled pockets,” he mentioned.

It has also been decided in the PML-N parliamentary committee meeting that Former petroleum minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will be appointed as interim PM for next 45 days before Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif contests from NA-120 and makes his way to the lower house. The younger Sharif will then be elected as the PM until interim government for 2018 general elections.
