Clash erupts among MQM workers after PS-114 defeat
The incident took place in the MQM election office in Manzoor Colony.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The workers of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) could not bear the defeat of their candidate Kamran Tesori in PS-114 by-election, and started fighting with each other.
According to details, the infuriated workers abused, pushed, punched, slapped and beaten each other.
The incident took place in the MQM election office in Manzoor Colony where the members of MQM and All Pakistan Muttahida Students Organization (APMSO) held each other responsible for the defeat of their candidate in by-election.
The enraged workers also threatened media personnel of severe consequences on covering their brawl. On the other hand, MQM-Pakistan leader Dr Farooq Sattar has said that the results of by-election would have been different if their concerns were solved earlier.
Dr Farooq Sattar further added that the relatives Pakistan Peoples Party s Saeed Ghani were caught red-handed, and pre-poll rigging was also pointed out.
