Security of every area important for army, says DG ISPR

DG ISPR assured that the menace of terror will be crushed with unity.

PARACHINAR (Web Desk) – Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG-ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor has said that security of every area in the country is important for the army.

Talking to the media persons in Parachinar, DG-ISPR said additional reinforcements have arrived in Parachinar while safe city project for the area has also been started.

He said Pakistan has decided to completely fence its border with Afghanistan that will be done in two phases. In the first phase, fence will be built in the most sensitive areas, he added.

He also assured that the menace of terror will be crushed with unity.

On the other hand, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday held meeting with the families of Parachinar twin blasts victims and tribal elders.

He was briefed about the security situation in the area. The locals and tribal leaders expressed full confidence and trust in Pakistan Army and its leadership.
