Purpose of leaking picture was to humiliate Sharif family: Rana Sanaullah
The law minister remarked that it looks like JIT wants to do PhD on Sharif family.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has Tuesday bashed the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) once again, and said the purpose of leaking Hussain Nawaz’s picture, while being interrogated, was to humiliate Sharif family.
The law minister inquired about the person or institution who leaked Hussain Nawaz’s photo on social media. He also asked that why has JIT not taken any action against the culprit?
Rana Sanaullah said JIT is becoming controversial, and may harm Supreme Court (SC) as well. He said the way JIT is asking for information from Sharif family, it looks like its purpose is not interrogation, but something else. He said no one can present record of 50 years in 24 hours.
The law minister remarked, “It seems JIT intends to do PhD on Sharif family instead of investigation.” He further taunted on the investigation team and said, “I suggest JIT should summon Shehbaz Sharif as well to complete its PhD, as he has also written a book.”
Rana Sanaullah made an interesting comment when he was asked about Rehman Malik’s summoning before JIT, and said if JIT is to consider Rehman Malik’s statement then “Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji un.”
The minister also criticized the opposition strongly and said it is opposition’s disorder to ask for Prime Minister’s resignation, and it has demanded it around three lac and thirty-three thousand times so far.
