A five-member PML-N committee convened a second session today

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Nehal Hashmi appeared before a probe committee of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Friday over his May 28 onslaught and censured Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan in a media talk afterwards.

A five-member PML-N committee convened a second session today during which the former senator offered an explanation about requesting the Chairman of Senate, Raza Rabbani to not accept the resignation.

While talking to the media, Hashmi said that no show-cause notice is served to Khan who occupies 300-canal in Bani Gala in contrast to the fact that a notice was served to him, occupying 200-yard land in Karachi.

He alleged Khan of threatening journalists, media houses, election commission, Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) and China in addresses atop containers.

Hashmi warned PTI chief of not leaving him at peace even if the entire world leaves him undisturbed. He alleged Khan of putting his speech in the wrong context to the public.

The probe committee of the ruling party that comprises of Special Assistant to PM on Political Affairs, Dr Asif Kirmani, Khawaja Zaheer, Senator Nuzhat Sadiq and Barrister Zafarullah is to file a report to the Prime Minister (PM).
