PM Nawaz chairs meeting of National Security Committee

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A meeting of the National Security Committee presided over by Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif is underway in Islamabad.

Sources told that key issues including overall security situation in the country and matter of RAW agent Kulbhushan Jhadav’s death sentence in International Court of Justice will also be discussed.

The premier will be briefed over the ongoing anti-terrorism operations, and Indian aggression along the Line of Control while important decisions are also expected during the meeting.

Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan, Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Services Chiefs, DG ISI and National Security Advisor Nasser Janjua are attending the meeting.
