Punjab CM briefed the premier over the budget and related matters

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has said on Monday in an address to workers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) that conspiracies would not hinder the journey of Pakistan towards progress.

The premier delivered an address in downtown Lahore to party workers and said that the ruling party had earlier equipped Pakistan with atomic power and now would make her an economic power. He directed Members of Provincial Assembly (MPA) and federal ministers to ramp up Awami Raabta Mohim.

In his speech, he asserted that development work on ports of Karachi and Gwadar was underway and that the government was to spend Rs 8 billion on Pakistan Railways.

On the occasion, Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif said that lawmakers disapproved of energy projects that would add 3,600 Mega Watt of power to the national grid whereas it is because of his political insight that the useful projects were completed.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif presided over a meeting and reviewed the progress made in light of the recently announced Punjab budget for the year 2017-18, regarding energy projects and other development projects.
