Threatening speech: Case registered against Nehal Hashmi

A case has been filed against Nehal Hashmi in Karachi for threatening speech against judiciary.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police have registered a case against former Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-M) senator Nehal Hashmi in Bahadurabad Police Station in Karachi on Sunday for threatening speech against judiciary, Dunya News reported.

The FIR No No122/2017 was registered on the complaint of SHO of Bahadurabad Police Station. The case was reistered under Sections 505, 228 and 189 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

Nehal Hashmi had delivered an objectionable speech to a gathering on the occasion of Yaum-e-Takbeer on May 28 during which he threatened the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) and the top court judges over Panama Leaks probe.
