Situation not looking good for Sharifs: Kamran Khan

KARACHI (Dunya News)- Senior analyst and anchorperson Kamran Khan termed Monday a ‘hard day’ for ruling family as Sharifs suffered first tremor in ongoing joint investigation team (JIT) probe into family’s offshore assets.

While presenting Sharif’s stance in programme ‘Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Sath’, Spokesperson for the Prime Minister (PM) House Musadik Malik claimed that country’s top court had not rejected all objections of the Hussain Nawaz.
“One member of Panamagate JIT has links with Pervez Musharraf (former president) and other has links with Mian Azhar (a fervent aide of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf). We would consult court yet again if behavior of JIT members does not change,” asserted Musadik Malik.
Musadik added that court would take decision whether to summon Maryam Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz.
Kamran Khan, while analyzing whole situation, said that an interesting tussle was happening in the apex court.
“Nawaz Sharif has been unable to submit 30-year-old record while Imran Khan has been unable to find14-year-old. The aforementioned scenario makes Nawaz and Imran to stand in a parallel position. SC has put forward 14 questions before Imran Khan and it is possible that JIT would be constituted to probe Imran Khan. Meanwhile, it has been learnt that Imran Khan has no record to submit in SC,” predicted senior anchorperson.
Khan said that load-shedding situation was getting out of control as residents of Karachi and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were subjected to traumatizing power cuts in Ramazan.
PTI’s Shaukat Ali Yousafzai tagged Abid Sher Ali and Khawaja Asif biggest thieves of electricity. Yousafzai said that 100pc residents of his area had paid the electricity bills whereas he termed intermittent power cuts a deliberate act of federation.
