76 patients have already died in last six days.

ABBOTTABAD (Dunya News) – The strike of Ayub Medical Complex (AMC) doctors has entered seventh consecutive day on Monday despite the death of as many as 76 patients in past six days.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is acting just like a silent spectator, and has not taken any notice of the lives that have been lost due to the protest.

Medical wards, operation theatres (OTs) and out-patient departments (OPDs), all are closed due to the stubbornness of doctors. Patients, who come from distant places of Abbottabad, are facing difficulties due to the strike.

According to hospital administration, 76 patients have died in last six days, but doctors have said that their protest will continue until the elimination of corrupt board of governors and management. On the other hand, KP government has taken no action so far to resolve the issue.
